This is an old family recipe , it dry potato and spinach dish .it vegan and gluten free dish.
POTATOES AND SPINACH RECIPE:
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled and cubed)
- 1 bunch spinach (palak) chopped
- 2 clove garlic slices
- 2 green chilies chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seed (zeera)
- to the test salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbs crash pepper
- 2 tomato chopped
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbs dry methi leave (fenugreek leave)
- 2 tbs dill (soya leaf)
Heat oil in a pan medium flame . Add garlic slices , when they start to turn light brown add cumin seed, dill-leave. methi leaves
Sauté them for 5-6 second . then add chopped spinach, potatoes ,green chilies , salt , turmeric powder , crash pepper and dill-leave. methi leaves 1/2 cup water cover 3-4 min to cook.
Now turn on sauté mode and sauté for 3-4 min. fry until water dry .
Aloo Palak is ready to be served. It simple delicious easy recipe .
serve with Roti ( chapati) Rice ,Naan , paratha.
